Getting Looks In Public
I haven’t been in the adult industry for that long (it’ll be a year come January). I’m very modest and I’ve never even really considered myself famous.
Well these dudes on the train proved me WRONG! I had just finished having dinner with an old friend. He dropped me to the train station, and of course I missed the train I was waiting on by not paying attention. So while I’m waiting for the next one to come, I feel these three young guys staring a damn hole in my head, as if I was butt-naked or something. I moved around on the other side of the train platform out of their view ’cause it started to creep me out a little bit. Then I hear a bunch of whispering. I know that being at a train station at night in the middle of a not-so-great area isn’t good for a chick like me, so I stroll a little further away and sit next to another lady.
Lo and behold, the three guys start walking over toward me! So I stand up and casually walk away again, because now it’s making me really nervous. Eventually I find a damn pole to hide behind and the train comes. They go into the same train car I’m in, of course. I sit and pretend to be on my phone until one of them comes up to be and goes, “Kimora Klein?” I start laughing and they do too. According to them, I’m famous with their group of friends. We chatted for a little bit on the train, I told them to add me on MySpace, and then they left. It was nice, and I was flattered and kind of taken aback at being recognized for the first time in public.
Initially this also could have been a bad situation. Seriously! Talk about a recipe for disaster: 20-year-old girl alone on the train platform at night + three big guys following her. I need to keep gathering money so I can afford my car insurance! It won’t be cheap (about $1200 for 6 months) but I need to have a car so I don’t experience anything close to that recipe for disaster again.
Right now I have about $400 saved so far. Of course I do scenes and stuff, but I need extra ways of getting cash, like doing auctions. For example I just finished my first auction of an autographed XXX magazine on eBay!
